MEET YOUR FUTURE SELF
Use this meditation any time you sense anything that’s blocking you, stopping you or holding you back; anytime you feel stuck or restricted.
RECOMMENDED FOR YOUR JOURNEY:
- Favorite journal or notepad (for after the meditation)
- Pen or some fun, fancy markers
- Wear headphones if you got ‘em
THIS IS A CLOSED EYE MEDITATION
- Find a safe and quiet space where you will not be interrupted.
- Have pillows and blankets at hand (you may cool as you relax).
- Prepare your outer world in such a way (preferably with head supported), that you feel safe and comfortable to explore the rich, inner realms within you – the world where all things are known and understood!
During this 26-minute meditation, you will imagine yourself years from now… a future version of yourself – who no longer blocks or stop herself… the YOU who lives her life from a place of grace and trust, and where self-sabotage is a thing of the past!
Once you’ve met your Future Self, and she has imparted her love and compassion, you’ll be asked to ‘anchor’ this profound state.
WHEN TO USE YOUR ANCHOR:
- Each time you do this meditation, be sure to fire your anchor when calling in your Future Self.
- In the future, any time you want or need her wisdom, you can simply ‘fire’ the anchor… inviting the support she offers.
HOW TO USE THE ANCHOR:
You’ll fire the anchor in the same way the anchor is set – by gently pressing together the thumb and index finger of the right hand for a count of 3. Take a few breaths, inviting the wisdom your Future Self offers.
